Even people paid to support us in Nigeria failed to do that – Shatta Wale

Shatta Movement boss Shatta Wale has explained what happened in Nigeria during the launch of Menzgold and Zylofon media branch in Nigeria.

Two weeks ago, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and some other Zylofon signed artiste where in Nigeria to perform at the launch of Zylofon media and Menzgold in Nigeria but as fate would have it, the Nigeria fans and people present at the event failed to show love to the Ghanaian acts that day.

Shatta Wale has finally explained in an interview with Andy Dosty his side of the whole incident. Host Andy Dosty wanted to find out from the “Gringo” hitmaker why he suffered that fate from the Nigerian fans gathered.

According to Shatta Wale, his research indicated that his songs are popular in Edo state but that particular show that the unfortunate incident happened was a corporate show and not a street carnival or Ghana meets Nigeria show and moreover the people at the event were invited for the program.

He revealed that it was after the show that he realized that the clappers(people who were in front) were paid by the organizers to be cheering artiste on and that if he had known earlier he would have poured water on them because they failed to perform their duty.
