The man who on May 27th, 2019 stabbed his wife in the head multiple times late in the night because he refused to give him money to pay a prostitute has been arrested at Nima.

According to reports sighted by Ghpage.com, Kofi was arrested after someone who knew where he was hiding tipped off the police.

Before being arrested, Kofi has been hiding since 27th May 2019 until he was arrested on Sunday, 17th June at Nima.

Narrating her ordeal, Akua revealed that she has two children with Kofi. The night before the incident occurred, he did not sleep at home. Only to come home early the next day with a woman following him.

The woman is believed to be a prostitute he had fun with the previous night. The woman who was following him demanded payment for her services the night before but Kofi had no money.

Akua, a hairdresser, said her husband stole her money to pay the prostitute, an action which sparked a heated argument between them. She refused to give her money to her husband to pay off a prostitute.

Narrating her ordeal with Class FM, Akua said in the evening of the same day, she felt a sharp pain in her skull while asleep, only to wake up to see her husband stabbing her multiple times with a knife.

The victim said she pleaded with him to stop and screamed for help. Fearing the consequence of his action, the husband fled the scene. Akua said she was rescued by her neighbors who took her to the hospital and reported the incident to the police.
