Shatta Wale grants first interview in Nigeria after his Beyoncé Collabo

Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale has granted the first interview to a Nigerian media house following his phenomenal feature on Beyoncé’s Lion King: The gift album.

In a telephone interview on Nigeria’s Beatz 99.9 FM, Shatta Wale talked about a variety of subjects which include his music, why he showcases his properties on Social media and most importantly his feature on Beyoncé’s album.

On the issue of flaunting his wealth i.e money, cars and houses on social media, Shatta Wale revealed that he does that to motivate upcoming artistes. He said that he does it to show them that he came from nothing to where he is now and that they can always get to where he is.

Concerning the Beyoncé collaboration, Shatta Wale was asked if his collaboration with the world star would pressure him to evolve the way he does his music, he replied no. He said that he is not a person to be pressured to change that all his fans love him for his unique style.

Shatta wale was one of the African Artistes featured on Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift album. The album also features Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Burna Boy and Mr Eazi.
