Accra Magistrate court has today, 22nd May 2019 granted Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy bail after they appeared before the court. They were both granted GH¢50,000 bail with one surety each in the court presided over by Magistrate Isaac Addo.
Stonebwoy has been charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace and display of a firearm in public without permission.

Shatta Wale, on the other hand, is facing a charge of offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace. Shatta Wale’ lawyer in court was Lawyers Jerry Avenyor whiles lawyer Selali Wonya represented Stonebwoy. Both pleaded not guilty
The case has been adjourned to June 20, 2019. In the meantime, both musicians were cautioned to be of good behavior while the case is ongoing.
Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy marred the 20th-anniversary celebration of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards event held on 18th May 2019 when the fans of the two rival musicians engaged in a fist fight on the stage.
It all started when Shatta Wale invited stormed the VGMA stage with his fans when Stonebwoy was giving his acceptance speech after winning Dancehall artist of the year.

In the midst of the confusion, Stonebwoy pulled a gun live on the stage with thousands of people looking on. He, however, did not fire the gun. They were both arrested on Sunday and granted bail on Monday.
