The controversial New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyepong has said, financial demands from individuals and constituents are gradually becoming unbearable for him to bear.
The member of Parliament has therefore sent a stern warning to everyone to desist from padding unnecessary pressure on him to solve problems they have brought unto themselves especially young men who go about flogging their dicks around by impregnating young girls only to heap such burdens on him.
He said, “A gentleman convinces a woman to sleep with her……he should know the outcome of whatever they were doing but immediately the woman gets pregnant, the man shifts his responsibility to the MP”.
“He will come to your house and tell you my wife is pregnant and I have to pay for hospital bills of one thousand Ghana cedis and I don’t have it”, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong added.
When speaking on a show hosted by Nana Aba Anamoah on GhOne dubbed ‘State of Affairs’ he made it clear that if you don’t help such guys, “they will go round everywhere destroying you”, he noted.
He also revealed that many come to him when their wifes are about to give birth and they will tell him they need his help and after, the child will be named after him.
According to the lawmaker, after the child is named after him, every responsibility is then shifted on him including paying the child’s school fees.
