The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested one suspect who is believed to have played a role in the gang-rape and subsequent murder of the Kumasi missing nurse Ruth Ama Eshun.
The deceased who is stationed at Sewua Health Center was found dead after she was reported missing after she failed to return from work on Monday, February 3, 2020.
Police were called in to convey the body which has now been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.

Though the police are yet to confirm the cause of her death, people who went to see her lifeless body revealed that they suspect she was raped before finally been killed.
At Ayuom were her lifeless body was left, investigators found a mobile phone suspected to belong to the suspects.
The late Ruth Ama Eshun left behind her husband and three children.
