Last Friday, news broke out that the three missing Tardi girls have been found but not alive after their lifeless bodies were retrieved in a manhole in Kansaworodo in the Western Region.
Earlier the Ghanaian Police had arrested one person in connection to the kidnap identified as Samuel Udeoutuk-Willis a Nigerian who led the police to where the bodies of the girls who have been missing to close to a year were found.
Some residents of Kansaworodo expressed shock after the bodies were discovered in their town and what surprised them more was that the suspect was very known in the town.

According to one resident identified as David Akwerte in an interview has revealed that he knew the suspect very well because of his religious nature and had met him on some occasions.
He said: “I always see the suspected kidnapper holding a bible; at a point, I thought he was a pastor”

On the other hand, the Ghana Police have indicated that they have retrieved some bodies from Kansaworodo but can’t confirm if truly those are the bodies of the missing Tardi girls until forensic tests are carried out.
