Ghpage.com reported that Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC the maverick New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organizer has allegedly been beaten to a pulp by the disgruntled fans of the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Asomah Kyeremeh.
Abronye DC is noted for fighting corruption in the country but was seriously beaten at his own constituency due to the good work he has taken upon himself.
Abronye appeared on Accra-based Television station UTV to have his byte on a topic “Mahama Administration- Accused of Inflating contracts sum”

He accused the then NDC administration of dupping the state through the bus branding as he referred them to Daily Graphic Online.
He then referred them to page 252 2016 of auditors general report where the then NDC took GHC 75 million just to dupe the state.
“Auditors general reports indicate that the then NDC administration took GHC 75 million just to dupe the nation for dupping sake,” he said.

Abronye DC was warned not to attend the meeting at Atebubu because there will be an assault on his life there because of his calls for the Regional Minister to be dismissed but he rubbished it.
Abronye DC further confirmed that he was attacked with a metal and has suffered a shoulder dislocation and has equally broken his arm.
