Legendary Ghanaian Highlife musician Amakye Dede who is now installed as a chief at Agogo as Barima Okyeredom Amakye Dede I has spoken on the death of late dancehall sensation Ebony Reigns who lost her life in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.
He spoke during the final funeral rite of the dancehall act which was held at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra on 24th March 2018.

Speaking of her death, he stressed that musicians in Ghana should be since they play a big role in putting the country on the International map.
“Without musicians, there will be no happiness in the world. I think in my own view, musicians in Ghana should be honoured. Politicians use our songs for their campaign rallies, you can never ignore music in every aspect of life,” he said.
