A popular Ghanaian fetish priest has revealed that Ghana cannot win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations without Asamoah Gyan.
According to the fetish priest identified as Nana Kontembratem, Asamoah Gyan is the missing piece Ghana needs to win the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.

“I want to tell Ghanaians that, ever since Ghana won the cup in 1982, many players since then have captained the team but to no avail…they keep saying Asamoah Gyan has no luck… Asamoah Gyan is the luckiest player who can captain the team for Ghana to win the 2019 African Cup.
But the thing is, there is another player that they need to pair with Gyan before Ghana can win. I wouldn’t want to mention that person’s name publicly, I want the football administrators to come to my shrine then my gods would secretly reveal the name of the player to them”, he disclosed.
Nana Kontembratem also added that Ghana’s hope of winning the AFCON will be shattered if his rule is not adhered to.

On Monday, 20th April 2019, Ghana’s best striker Asamoah Gyan announced his retirement from the Senior national team.
Through a press statement, Asamoah Gyan explained his reason behind this unfortunate incident and how he felt betrayed by Coach Kwesi Appiah.
It has also been revealed that Andre Dede Ayew has been appointed as the captain to lead Ghana to the 2019 AFCON Tournament.
