Popular and veteran Ghanaian radio/TV presenter, Fiifi Banson has settled the difference between two afro Dancehall giants in Ghana, Stonebwoy, and Shatta Wale.
When both artists were finally singed unto Zylofon Media, the most prestigious record label in Ghana, many people thought the beef between the two will settle but they thought wrong. The beef is even worse now.
Well, Fiifi Banson in conversation with Bola Ray on Starr Chat has explained the difference between the two.
According to him, the two guys are just too great in their own way. However, he loves Shata Wale’s brand as it’s the best whiles he is in love with Stonebwoy for his lyrical prowess.
To him, it’s amazing how Shatta Wale metamorphoses from Bandana to Shatta Wale and went on to dominate the music industry.
Whiles Stonebwoy despite having a solid brand with huge followers also is admired for his self-discipline and humility within the music industry. He said:
“I’ve never kept any song by the contemporary artists. I don’t have one copy of any song by Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and others but I really love Shatta, not for his lyrical content but I love him for his ability, his brand…”
“When he was Banadana and the way he metamorphosed to Shatta, I love the change and how he branded himself but as for his lyrical content, sometimes he goes overboard. I love Stonebwoy for his self-discipline and humility.” Fiifi Banson added.
The Veteran presenter added that his all-time best musician in Ghana is Charles Kwadwo Fosu popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
Ghpage.com reported last week that after 3 years of dedicated service as the host of the Accra based Kasapa FM, Fiifi Banson has bowed out of the station.
Before EIB Network’s Kasapa FM, he worked for Peace FM for 15 years as the drive-time host after he left Radio Gold.
