It seems the rumours that surfaced on the internet that Akuapem Poloo’s conversion from Christianity to Islam isn’t genuine but backed by the promise of a rich Alhaji to marry her are true.
According to Rosemond Alade Brown aka Akuapem Poloo who recently converted to Islam, she does not mind being a rich man’s 3rd or 10th wife.

Speaking in an interview on Accra FM, Akuapem Poloo who now wants to be addressed as Haniya argued that since her newly found faith doesn’t frown on polygamy, she’ll happily marry a rich man who has multiples wives.
The mother of one continued that she would not want to be married to a broke man because she needs a financially stable man to care for her needs.
In her own words;
“If I love the man and my heart comes to you, why not? If you’ve married two, three, or even 10, and you can still take care of me, why not? Anything can happen, so I am ready for anything only if I will not suffer.”
Apparently, Akuapem Poloo ditched Christianity for Islam so that she wouldn’t be backlashed if she marries a wealthy polygamous man.
Akaupem Poloo’s latest confession has forced a lot of social media users to draw the conclusion that her main reason for choosing Islam is not about her salvation but her ability to get herself a rich Alhaji.
