The Government of the Republic of Ghana has stated that Ministers who are also Members of parliament will not receive double salaries.
According to reports, Ministers who are also Members of parliament will only receive salaries as Parliamentarians and shouldn’t expect double salaries.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo“One thing people are not aware of is that, if you are a Member of Parliament [MP] and also appointed as Minister by the President, you will only be paid as a Member of Parliament by the government. No one will take double salary”, the reports stated.

The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo reshuffled some of his appointees and also appointed new ministers for the new regions that were created.
In the announcement made by the President, 13 more names were added as ministers and deputy ministers for the new regions.
With this addition, the total number of ministers under the Akufo-led administration is 123 as compared to the 88 ministers under the John Mahama-led administration.
