For a while now, there have been statements which sought to state that the “One Corner” fever is over and the song, as well as its dance, is dead but the crooner defiantly says not.
Patapaa Amisty the One Corner Hitmaker speaking with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM’s ‘Showbiz Agenda’ on Friday morning stated that the song is still enjoying patronage in the country. He said:
“The song is not dead. This is what will be used to celebrate Christmas. I have even done a couple of songs to complement it,” he said.
Explaining further, Patapaa said that he has a couple of shows to perform this Christmass and its a sign that the song is still strong and is nowhere near dead.
“By God’s grace I have a couple of shows to play in Accra and Takoradi,” he said.
Another thing Patapaa talked about with Sammy Flex was how he paid for the visuals of the popular One Corner song. According to him, Bola Ray, the CEO of EIB Group paid all the bills.
The Agona Swedru-based artist full of appreciation for the media guru said:
“Bola Ray helped to foot the bills for my video. He paid everything,”
