Ghana in long term struggle has finally won a gold medal in the Olympic Games proudly by a young and talented girl Martha Bissah.
Martha Bissah is a 17-year-old girl from a village called New-Aboi in the Prestea Hunivally District, Western Region.

New-Aboi is a small isolated village in a middle of a thick forest with 600 human population, the main occupation for the occupants in New-Aboi is farming, cocoa, and cash crop plantation.
Martha is the first born of her parents followed by 6 siblings. The young girl is believed to be a person who learned how to walk a bit earlier than is expected and was flying in everything she does in her early ages.

Martha was a lively person, obedient and committed as well. The talented athlete was very poor when it comes to academics but forced herself to learn all because she wanted to achieve something great.
