Following reports that it is the government of Ghana which is rather impeding Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Menzgold’s efforts to settle Mengold customers whose investment are locked with the gold trading company, Shatta Wale former Zylofon Media artist has spoken.
According to Shatta Wale, the only person who can pay Menzgold customers including him is Nana Appiah Mensah and nobody else.

Shatta Wale revealed that the only way Nana Appiah Mensah who is the only that can settle Menzgold customers can do what he needs to do is to return to Ghana first where the customers are based.
So for the government of Ghana lead by EOCO, Ghana Police and Attorney General to keeping making his efforts difficult is sicking and should be condemned.
Shatta Wale called on the government to pay Menzgold customers their money if they don’t want Nana Appiah Mensah who is mandated to pay to perform his responsibilities.

Shatta Wale warned that he together with others will storm the offices of some government leaders to demand their money if the government does not allow NAM1 to return to Ghana and pay his customers.
SHATTA WALE WROTE ON SOCIAL MEDIA:
“Good morning
I am sharing this as a menzGold customer who needs my money as well as the numerous customers with the same mindset. The only person who can facilitate the payment of locked up funds is Nana Appiah Mensah and he has shown his commitment to pay. He wants to come to his country to pay but a certain lawyer says he should be locked up in Dubai so who pays us?
Please if the lawyer wants to pay our money then we thank God because very soon, she will see us in her office to help us get our money. But, if she can’t help us then please she should stop making such statements because people are worried.
The solution is never in keeping NAM 1 in Dubai. Thank you for listening to me Menzgold customers. We are still praying for a peaceful Ghana where citizens will be proud of being Ghanaians.”

Nana Appiah Mensah was arrested by Dubai police when he went chasing an amount of $39 million Dubai based Royal Horizon Diamonds owe him. He was accused of fraud and was detained from December 7th, 2018.
In April 2019, Dubai court set NAM1 free from all fraud charges and ordered Royal Horizon Diamond to pay Nana Appiah Mensah his money with extra charges.
Around that time, the government of Ghana activated an Interpol red alert on NAM1. Although he has been set free to pursue his money, Dubai Interpol is restricting his movements because of the alert from Ghana.

In a chat with A Plus, Nana Appiah Mensah revealed all efforts from his lawyers to the government to lift the alert for him to chase his money has proven futile. Now, the “NPP government is telling him he is annoying”.
