Update: Second suspected coronavirus case at Korle Bu tests negative

In our earlier reportage, it was indicated that there has been a second coronavirus case recorded at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital that had caused serious fear and panic in Ghana.

As part of measures to calm down situations and eliminate fear and panic from the country amid the CODVID-19 outbreak, doctors took samples of blood of the suspected carrier of the virus to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research for testing.

Good news reaching us after the long wait from the test indicates the test conducted on a suspected case of the novel coronavirus tested negative.

Dr. Badu Sarkodie, director of public health at the Ghana Health Service(GHS) confirmed to the media.

Ghana so far has tested 46 suspected cases of the deadly coronavirus, which all proved negative.

Since the outbreak of the deadly CODVID-19, it has claimed over 3, 412 lives and infected over 100,000 others in some 70 countries.
