Wendy Shay can go places if she’s well managed by Bullet – Sammy Awuku

The National Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku has thrown her support for Wendy Shay, stating that she can go places if she is been managed well by her record label.

Wendy Shay was signed by the RuffTown Records to replace the Dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns after her sudden demise on February 2018.

Wendy Shay can boast of hit tracks such as “Uber Driver” and “Bedroom Commando” which Bullet, the songwriter was accused of stealing the song from a young rising artist called Rison.

Sammy Awuku who was a guest on Starr FM’s StarChat With Bola Ray expressed his admiration for the “Uber Driver” hitmaker.

“There is this new kid on the block, this Wendy Shay girl…I think if she is well managed, you know Ebony was phenomenal and a great talent that we have lost but I think if she [Wendy] manages herself well she will go places,” Sammy Awuku said.

Meanwhile, CEO of RuffTown records Ricky Nana Agyeman better known as Bullet in a post warned people to stay away from his new artiste Wendy Shay.

According to his Facebook post which read, “this is a rufftown property,bailers stay off and go get your own ??”. We knew the bailers been referred here is no other than Zylofon media and its CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah.

Remember in February when dancehall sensation Ebony under the RuffTown label passed on Nana Appiah Mensah tweeted that the late singer begged him to come and bail her from Bullet’s RuffTown label.
